ENGLAND HOCKEY MASTERS - Captain’s Blog
The 45s, 50s and 55s are champions whilst the over 40s finish a creditable 3rd.
It was a triumphant day for England as the 45s, 50s and 55s all took gold with close but deserved wins over Australia. All 3 finals were highly competitive, skilful and played with a great deal of sportsmanship. Celebrations ran long into the night whilst come players started the long journey home. Only the over 40s returned empty handed but they deserve credit for some good performance against high quality opposition.
Thanks for all at Hong Kong Football club, organisers and officials and hockey players across the world for making this a truly memorable event.
